Ok, so instead of cutting up food in small pieces ( such a pb&j, grilled cheese, etc) I have been cutting in bigger chunks hoping DS would learn the concept of taking bites instead of inhaling the food.
Not happening. He still is shoving food in his mouth. Is there something I'm missing? I don't know how to get him to stop shoveling and start biting :-)
Re: eating habits
I only cut up meat that's tougher to chew. I give her sandwiches and things whole. I'd probably still cut up things like apples, but I hardly ever buy them- so eh
I think that's how you get them to stop shoveling it in, give it to them w
