Update: Pregnant with IUD (pics!)

We had our NT scan today! Best news possible!!! Baby was healthy and active, heartbeat 161. The ultrasound tech said that it looks like the IUD has gotten wedged between the amniotic sac and the placenta and that the placenta is starting to grow around the IUD. This is amazing for us because our largest concern was that the sharp edges of the IUD would rupture the amniotic sac. In most of the stories I could find online where there was a "happy ending", this is exactly what happened. We're very excited to get this news and feeling even more hopeful that we'll meet our baby in October!
