Anyone in the Winchester area? I live in Martinsburg, WV and had a c section with my DS. Our WV hospitals do not allow VBACs. Does Winchester Medical Center/Valley Health??? My dr already says I will be a good candidate for one, just legally cannot deliver here. Thank you in advance!
PPD/PPA Mom...it has been super hard, but I'm making it! Slow steps... Mom to Carter (6), and Calianne (1). Proud VBAC, natural birth, breastfeeding, cloth diapering momma!
I'm not sure. I thought I would respond to your question though b/c you live so close:) I know my friend had a c-setion last year at Winchester and she has to have another one with this pregnancy as well. I think it's b/c she concieved so quickly afterwards, however. You should get in contact with Winchester Womens Specialists and perhaps ask them:) That's where I go to the doctor and they've been very helpful so far.
Ty very much. Will do. Yea, my son is almost 2 and 1/2 and we don't plan on trying until a couple months before he turns 4. Therefore the time thing def won't be a problem for me, I'm just doing the research now.

winchester has very high vbac rates per state data (93% of those with a c-section previously end up having another)- of course doc to doc is different but i'd just say be weary and do your research. try looking here to research:
I called Valley Health and asked the L&D dept if they allow vbac. They said yes, but couldn't give a specific doc who performed them. She gave me all of the OB's in the area and I googled which had the best reviews. I called and they said their docs do them. I am at Blue Ridge Gynecology and they set me up with Dr. Wade, which is the only one of their docs on the Ican website being listed as having a decent vbac rate. She told me she has no problem letting me try for a vbac and they also keep you with the same doc throughout your pregnancy, which I really love!

they also give stats on the individual doctors.

Hope that helps! Good luck with your vbac!
