Where the hell did these hips come from?!

Mobile bumpers:  "Where the hell did these hips come from?!"

So naive me decided I'd attempt to wear one of my prepregnancy dresses for a wedding we have in 2 weeks.  BAD idea!  I thought I'd be OK because I've always tried to hide my belly/hips so a lot of my nice dresses are VERY forgiving and roomy in that area.  Ummm...not anymore.  I've always been pretty curvy (ie big hips) so I just assumed they wouldn't grow while pregnant...wrong again.  I don't know if they've grown or if all the goodies have literally gone straight to my hips but that is ALL I see when I put these dresses on.

I'm trying really hard to not go out and buy a dress that I'll wear once because we really don't need to spend the extra money.  DH just keeps telling me that I'm pregnant so people will expect me to look like this...I can't tell if I want to kiss him for this or smack him!

  • I definitely had to go maternity shopping again a couple days ago. I just cannot fit my pre pregnancy clothes at all. Which is expected but I guess since I've never been "this" pregnant before I didn't quite know what to expect.

  • I do have a couple of maxi dresses but I don't think they're dressy enough.  I have two nicer dresses that have a high waist that I'll probably wind up wearing.  I'm sure I'm the only one who starts at my hips and then looks at the rest of it.&n

  • A maxi dress and a jacket maybe? I like the maxi dresses, too- they sure are forgiving and you don't necessarily need maternity sizes. And you can wear them later. I got one for my brother's wedding in July (yes, he's getting married in the summer, 900 mi
