Amber Teething Necklaces/Anklets

Have any of you used these?  If so do you recommend the necklace vs. the anklet or vice versa?  Do you think they really work?  My almost 8 month old seems to have a really hard time with teething, refusing bottles, everything is in the mouth, crying in pain, etc. We've tried orajel, ice cubes, Tylenol and nothing seems to help so we were thinking of trying one of the Amber items.  Any input is helpful.   Thanks.

    I have heard really good things about them. I have yet to indulge. I have heard that the lighter the color the better...like the softest yellows as opposed to the brownish tints.

    oh yeah - and I used the teething tablets by Hylands - those seem to work well for my DD at least....

    We've had a necklace for about 4 months (DS is 7 months) and LOVE IT!!!! I highly recommend one. It helps w/ inflammation,drool and pain. When I took it off to clean it a few times I noticed a big difference and put it back on asap!! We were skeptical to

    I have one... I mostly use it at night and only on her ankle then.  I haven't noticed any difference in her behavior.

    LO wears it everyday...I take it off before she gets in the tub at night.  She's had 2 teeth come completely in and I never would have known if she hadn't bit me.  For her it seems to make a big difference.  The one we have is a really pale
