Crawling on Hardwood Question!!!

I just posted this week about my almost 10 month old not crawling yet...well the next day he started! LOL When do you let him go on the hardwood?? I have a mat but he keeps crawling off....do I let him go for it and learn from mistakes ie.. Getting a little banged up????

  • DS crawls on hard wood at home most of the time. We have tile/ hardwood in our living room, dining room and kitchen where we spend most of our time. Let him explore. It might be easier to take his pants and socks off so its not as slippery.
