It should actually be cradle cap. Use a little mineral oil / baby oil on the scalp and loosen the scales with a baby brush. Then wash LO's head. It should get better as time goes on. It's a leftover hormone thing...yay.

Thank you, I will definitely give baby oil a try, hopefully it works. I have put off looking into it, thinking it would just clear up, but it seems to be "caking" like you mentioned.

Did the oilve oil thing and it worked but not great and it was kinda nasty (she smelled like sauteed chicken). So, I ordered Mustela cradle cap lotion from drugstore.com and it is amazing! Lather it on before bed and it is gone by morning. Love
