Baby dandruff

Anyone else experiencing this with their lil one? Any recommendations to fix this?

    It should actually be cradle cap.  Use a little mineral oil / baby oil on the scalp and loosen the scales with a baby brush.  Then wash LO's head.  It should get better as time goes on.  It's a leftover hormone thing...yay.

    My LO has had dry skin since birth including her scalp. Now it's much better but her scalp still has some dandruff looking patches. I haven't done anything to her scalp in fear of her brushing her hand against it then putting her hand in her mouth. I'll p

    Ya...I agree this sounds like cradle cap. My LO's looked like mild dandruff, so I didn't think anything of it until it suddenly started caking. I ended up using olive oil as I didn't have mineral oil kicking around. She actually really liked having

    Thank you, I will definitely give baby oil a try, hopefully it works. I have put off looking into it, thinking it would just clear up, but it seems to be "caking" like you mentioned.

    I used baby oil and olive oil, I just put it on DS's head about three minutes before his bath...sat there and played with him, then I brushed it good with a soft baby brush and then carefully rinsed it so I didn't get any in his eyes.

    Did the oilve oil thing and it worked but not great and it was kinda nasty (she smelled like sauteed chicken). So, I ordered Mustela cradle cap lotion from drugstore.com and it is amazing! Lather it on before bed and it is gone by morning. Love
