Baby dandruff

Anyone else experiencing this with their lil one? Any recommendations to fix this?

  • It should actually be cradle cap.  Use a little mineral oil / baby oil on the scalp and loosen the scales with a baby brush.  Then wash LO's head.  It should get better as time goes on.  It's a leftover hormone thing...yay.

  • Thank you, I will definitely give baby oil a try, hopefully it works. I have put off looking into it, thinking it would just clear up, but it seems to be "caking" like you mentioned.

  • Did the oilve oil thing and it worked but not great and it was kinda nasty (she smelled like sauteed chicken). So, I ordered Mustela cradle cap lotion from drugstore.com and it is amazing! Lather it on before bed and it is gone by morning. Love
