Weird Body Stage

Is anyone else struggling with what to wear during this very awkard stage?  I'm not showing to the point where you would look at me and say "oh wow - that lady pregant - how cute", more like "oh wow - that lady probably drinks too much beer - that's gross".  I don't want to wear maternity clothes because I'm not ready to tell everyone just yet, but my old clothes are just not cutting it!  Everything is changing and I'm trying to adapt my personal and professional wardobe, but it's difficult.  When will this get easier??  I"m about 9 1/2 weeks.  Thanks!!

I'm on the thinner side and I let my bloat hang out because I got tired of trying to suck it in constantly, so I look like I have a pregnant belly, but there's definitely no bump there yet. Just flab. I don't really have any loose fitting clothes, and I'm

  • I know exactly what you mean, I am 9 weeks and have always worn close fitting clothing that just doesn't cut it anymore. However, I did go to Target and buy a pair of Liz Lange maternity jeans. They are super cute, dark wash and no one can tell they are m
  • I am right there with you ladies. I am 10 weeks today and picking out clothes to wear to the office in the mornings have become a hassle. I have so many pencil skirts that I can no longer zip up. I've been sticking to looser dresses and just bought a bell

  • I struggle so much with what to wear to work and I'm afraid people are getting the hint I am.. I try to hide it however there's just that little bump and a couple ladies have mentioned me having another and etc... I'm going to have to tell them all soon!
  • I hear ya.  This is my 7th and I'm 9 weeks and nothing is seeming to fit at all.  Maternity tops would be huge, but my regular tops are getting tight and not cutting it either.  I don't really want to go buy anything.  You'd think w

  • I'm about 10wks 5days and I'm also on the skinnier side. Since becoming pregnant, my bloat has just exploded. It looks like I'm 5 months pregnant but I don't care. I just let it all hang out. I got some looser maternity shirts because I know I'm going to

  • Ya my bloat is big enough to be noticeable.  I am quite thin generally and don't have a stomach that sticks out, so I wear a lot of form-fitting shirts at work, but lately with the bloat, I look pregnant so I've had to try and hide it under more flow

Yes!  10 weeks here to and I'm dying.  I lost about 25 pounds over the last year (and was so proud of it), so I ended up pulling out all my 'fat' pants and have gone back to them.  I'm still stuck about what the hell to put on top though...

I would recommend buying a few pants in your new size. At least for me, the way I was at 912 weeks was how I was when I went back to work post baby. It was nice to have some non maternity clothes to wear after I had DS without the stress of fitting back i
  • I'm in your shoes! Thankfully some of my pants I had before were a little big still and I'm able to wear those but without a belt now. They might be a little loose in the morning but by the end of the day they fit quite well! I've been looking for some go
  • Oh gosh, yes. I've been wearing maternity pants the last few weeks (I'm 9.5 weeks now), just because I couldn't stand the tightening waistband on all my pants. I was so happy my friend gave me her maternity clothes! I really can't wear any of my pants now
