DD is 10 months old and is still refusing to hold her own bottle. She won't put puffs in her own mouth and she won't eat anything besides 2 baby food. Is this normal? What gives? TIA!
DS REFUSED to hold his own bottle at 10 months. If you dropped it, he would get mad. He just turned 11 months and all of a sudden started holding it like a champ in the last week or so. As for feeding himself, he loves that, so I'm probably no help to
It's normal. I think some babies like the help from parents and are not ready to be independent. Give her time. Eventually she'll want to do it on her own.

The bottle never bothered me since we have no weened to a cup and he has no issue holding a cup. They recommend being off bottles at 1 so I figured it would stop then, he holds all his other cups fine. I would just go with it.
