On Wednesday night, DH, DD and I took a little road trip down to Philadelphia so DH and DD could hang out with a college friend (who, incidentally, I used to date... long story short, we broke up on good terms and now he and DH are BFFs who eventually became roommates in college, and he was on of DH's groomsmen!) while I went to my first post-baby concert (Andrew McMahon at TLA, for the record it was amazing!).
Anyway, since I wasn't sure whether I would get super uncomfortable during the concert, I packed a manual breast pump in a clear plastic bag so if need be I could duck into a bathroom and pump (and then dump it down the toilet since I'm pretty sure that would be totally unsanitary). Anyway, as I was going into the TLA, one of the security guys asked to check my purse, and the conversation went something like this:

Me: A breast pump.

SG: .... I'm sorry I asked. Go on in.
I never, ever saw a man look SO embarassed in my life. But my friends and I got a good laugh out of it.
Anyone else out there have any entertaining breast pump stories??

As a side note, I usually pump at my kitchen table, which faces the windows. I'm just
