Activity time?

What do you do for activity time besides tummy time? I've read that alot of people have started incorporating activity time in their schedule and I'm curious what it entails. I'm worried I just have LO sitting around too much either in his swing or boppy. We do tummy time but that's about it.

    DD is only 2.5 weeks right now, so we do little to nothing lol.  When she's awake, which is still brief, I chat with her, take her down with me on the floor and hold her while I play with DS, etc.  With DS, I started laying him on his activity m

    i agree with PP, at a month the most interesting thing to your LO is YOU. I sing songs to her, and when she seems mesmerized by my face, I make faces at her. If i have to put her down during her awake time, i try to put things in front of her that have

    We do small amounts of time on the play mat. We play music and I sing to him. He gets a bedtime story every night. The EASY method even counts diaper changes as activity at this young age. My LO and I have some of my favorite interactions during changi

    We do tummy time for 5 or 10 min a day, LO hates it though! She prefers to be on my chest looking around. Like one of PP said, changing time is a favorite time of ours to make faces, talk and sing.

    We do the activity mat and tummy time. She likes to look in mirrors, but mostly she likes when I talk to her and make faces

    We have conversations, and go look out the window. I also use some of his alert time to shower. He's pretty fascinated by the bathroom and all the colors and textures in there.
