Need opinions... how worried should I be?

Last period 2/25 positive opk 3/14 positive hpt 3/31 beta 4/2 691 beta 4/4 1571 beta 4/8 6361 ultrasound today and they saw gestational and yolk sac. That's it. Tech said not to worry that it just means I am not quite 6 weeks yet and that they don't usually see the embryo until then and that its a good sign that the yolk sac is there. It doesn't all add up to me though and I am totally worrying now. Think we should have seen more. Now I have to wait another week

Your honest thoughts?

I'm pretty sure baby is way too small to see prior to 6 weeks, which is why my RE wouldn't do an u/s until I was 6 w

Try not to worry. When I was pregnant with the twins they did an u/s at 6 wks and saw two gestational sacs, one yolk sac and no heartbeats. Everything turned out ok.

Based on a positive OPK on 3/14 I think you could be 6 weeks today or tomorrow. The earliest I've had and u/s is 6w2d and my RE always warns me before the u/s that it may be too early to see a heartbeat. I know some clinics won't schedule a first u

Thanks! I seriously am feeling better now : just have to stay positive for another week now. I had a blighted ovum before so I got nervous watching the ultrasound...at least there was a yolk sac though this time.

Wait, I'm calculating you at 6 weeks today, right?

My OB told me that he likes to wait until you're a little bit into your 6th week before scheduling an ultrasound with the hopes of seeing a baby/heartbeat.

I'm late to the game and have nothing profound to add. I'm with the the majority (which is everyone) and think you are still in the game. Huge hugs while you bite every nail waiting for another week to pass.
