xp helping fight infection w/o antibiotics

i posted this in parenting initially and someone suggested i post it here.

my dd just finished a round of antibiotics last wednesday for an ear and sinus infection. it was the second time in her life that she's ever been on them as i think they're the devil which my pedi agrees with. lol.

last night she was up all night again and is showing symptoms of a sinus infection again. i really don't want to put her through a second round of antibiotics which i'm sure my pedi will agree with. i'm going to wait it out for a few days and see if her immune system does its job on its own then make a sick visit to the pedi towards the end of the week if she isn't getting better or earlier if she takes a turn for the worse.

in the meantime, any tips on stuff i can give her to help. i really don't want to do another dose of antibiotics again.

  • I don't know.  I haven't done any natural remedies...   Though I'm not a huge fan of overusing anti-biotics, I do use them when needed.  DD has been on them twice.  Once for pnemonia and once for an eye infection when she was 3
