Soooo I didn't have the easiest pregnancy, bed rest, cerclage, etc., but all was worth it for our beautiful Clare.

Fast forward 10w to now and I have had an infection they haven't been able to clear since she was born. Started as kidney then turned to continuous UTI. I've had 3 different antibiotics and ultimately had a picc line installed this week for IV antibiotic for 10 days.

I'm so frustrated. I was supposed to go back to work this week and I feel like such a goof continuously having to call and put my return date off. I'm a teacher and my long term quit so things are just a mess, blah!

Worst part, docs are pretty confident something is wrong with my kidneys. Most likely structural due to the usual coupling of uterine septum and kidney abnormality. Anyone ever had this??? Ultrasounds check out fine so as soon as infection clears I have to have a ct scan then we will go from there.

So thankful for my baby girl, but mommy needs to catch a break!

Oh no, whales! What a rough time you've had so far. I hope your doctors will able to identify the cause of your recurrent infections on the CT scan and can get you well! {{hugs}}

Oh my - Imcan't imagine. I really hope it's nothing serious and that they figure it out soon! Try not to worry about work right now. Try to focus on yourself hon. (((((hugehugs)))))
