I was married to a military guy for two years and when my husband started getting really abusive after a deployment (he had PTSD) I left. I tried everything to stay with him, he was my high school sweetheart, but I was being abused in every way so I had to run.

Flashforward to now, I've been hidden from my ex for almost 8 months and I recently found out I'm pregnant. I have tried for months and months to serve my ex divorce papers but I can't find him and he will not work with me when I text him about getting divorced. I'm freaking out now, because the pregnancy wasn't planned but I obviously wasn't going to put my life on hold because I ran away from my abuser. But now I'm scared he'll find me or my baby.

Any advice? Btw, the baby's dad and family is very supportive.

The courts keep saying I need an address so they can serve him with divorce papers though, and he won't provide me with one. It will still work?

Since he's military, I would try talking to his command first. But, isn't there a "default divorce" option? I would ask a lawyer about it but i'm pretty sure there is. But, when i was military i got a "no contact" order placed on my soon to be ex husband
