madela vs ameda

Does anyone have experience with these pumps. I received the Ameda through my insurance because my little guy was born at 35 weeks. I had originally planned on purchasing a madela pump in style. I noticed the Ameda doesn't have as strong of a suction compared to the madela symphony that I was using i'm the hospital. I don't know if the pump in style would be worth the money since I have the ameda. Any thoughts on the matter?

    Any hospital grade pump will be better than one that isn't. That being said, I EP'd for a year with an Ameda Purely Yours, with no problems. I also liked that even though it wasn't hospital grade it was still a closed system. With the medelas only the hos

    I may be the only one that hates the Medela, but I do.  I used the Medela Pump In Style for DS1 and the Medela Advanced for DS2.

    I've used ameda for both kiddos and an I had to exclusively pump for the first 68 weeks of their lives. I really like my ameda. I also used a medela in the hospital, but I didn't see any difference in pumping output.
