Progesterone

What the flip you guys I am in hell right now.  

Alright, so my last beta DID double.  Went from 3,251 to 6, crap I can't remember but it did double.  

HOWEVER, talk to me about progesterone.  I understand progesterone fluctuates. In my other two pregnancies it bounced around from being in the mid thirties to mid twenties every time it was tested. Lately it has gone from 35, to 31, 28, 25, 22, etc. I'm getting worried that it keeps dropping even though I know that a level of 22 is considered normal. 


I'm going in for an ultrasound tomorrow to rule out ectopic/blighted ovum since my HCG levels stopped doubling every 48 hours and then did double again and my OB said this could be a sign of one of those two things.  

I'm so stressed out!

    I'm so sorry for all of this stress! I don't have any words of wisdom, as I was on PIO and my RE only took p4 levels with the first beta. But, I wanted to wish you the best of luck with your ultrasound! My RE didn't buy into the doubling in 48 hours theor

    Here's what I really think. I don't like your OB at all. Normal range for doubling is 48-72 hours. He has you all worried about one beta that doubled in 69 hours, which is still in normal range! OBs don't spend a to of time drawing and analyzing betas lik

    I am just catching up so Congratulation!!  Now I agree with Dragonfly I am totally side eyeing your OB honestly.  Your beta's all look fabulous to be and the fact that one didn't double in exactly 48 hours but within the 72 hour window I think i

    I guess I'll find out more today and I'll ask about the progesterone.  I understand my levels all have been within the normal range, however I just don't know why it keeps dropping and not bouncing around.

    I agree with Dragonfly and PPs that you should stop with the betas since they can only tell you so much and the rest is just speculation. And they are obviously stressing you out more than helping.  I'm glad they are getting you in for an early u/
