Beach baby

DH and I are looking to take a vacation with DS in the next few weeks (DS is 7 weeks now).  We want to go somewhere significantly warmer than it is here (we re generally beach goers - we love to surf, but this trip is more for relaxation and spending time together)

are there any experienced travellers out there? Where would you suggest? Can you / how do you do the beach with LO?  Any tips?

 DH and I were starting to look at package vacations to Mexico/Caribbean, but we concerned about transportation with LO while there.  Can this type of trip work for us?  Otherwise we are open for ideas in the US.

    We did a family vacation to Mexico when my niece was 3 mons old.  Travel was pretty easy with her.  My sister took her stroller, she held my niece on the plane and we rented private transportation from the airport to the hotel and they provid

    I think you just need to be realistic about what your vacation would be. LO can't be in the sun and can't use sunscreen. (My pharmacist told me that they just changed the recommended  waiting time for sunscreen from 6 months to 1.5 Years. - howeve

    Savannah/Tybee island is beautiful this time of year. And it's relaxing, almost to the point of boring.

    Lo is 9 weeks and in 3 weeks we are going down to Myrtle  Beach.  Anything can work.  Its just how  much effort do you want to put into it.  For us we are going to be staying a condo so we will have most things we have hat ho

    We are aware of the issues with the sun - we have the Phil and teds traveller, so LO will be able to sleep in it and use on beach with uv cover.

    we'll be flying wherever we go, driving is too far.  We love savannah, but pricey for us to fly

    not really a suggestion on where to go, but a tip for the beach: Take baby powder!!

    It will get off every single grain of sand after you leave the beach - seriously, a life saver!! just pour it on sandy body parts and rub gently...its amazing and
