Beta #s for those who transferred 2

DH and I transferred one for our first 3 FETs, but between a c/p, a m/c, and a BFN, we haven't had success.  This time we transferred two and looking at my beta numbers, I am thinking that (at this point - and believe me, I know it is still very early) it looks like twins (which to be honest, is very scary for me - although I obviously knew it was a chance).  Can anyone give feedback on their betas & if they ended up with 1 or 2 children?

Beta 11dp5d5 = 673 (in the past mine were in the 300s)

Beta 13dp5dt = 1265

I hope I will be joining you all over here next month once I complete my 2 ultrasounds!

My TTC Journey:
Dx: Hypothalamic amenorrhea / mild PCOS (Pretty much a hormone/ovulatory disorder)
Progesterone to induce period w/ the goal of Clomid - never got period (September 2011). Referred to RE.
Femera - never responded to the meds (December 2011)
Clomid with TI - BFN (February 2012)
Injectables (Menopur) - hyperstimulated/canceled (March 2012)
Injectables #2 (Menopur) with TI- BFN (May 2012)
IVF - OHSS (transfer canceled), but 11 frozen! (June 1012)
FET - 1 transferred on 8/09/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 350.3; Beta#2: 365; Beta#3: 157. Biochemical pregnancy.
FET # 2 - 1 transferred on 11/01/12. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): 337; Beta#2: 769. BFP!!! 1st ultrasound 11/28/12 showed heartbeat, but measuring 5 days behind. 2nd ultrasound 12/05/12 - miscarriage.
FET # 3 - 1 transferred on 1/24/13. Beta#1 (11dp5dt): BFN.
FET # 4 - 2 transferred on 3/21/13.  Bet #1 (11dp5dt): 660; Beta#2: 1,300.  Miscarried at home @ 6 weeks.

FET # 5 - 2 transferred on 7/12/13.  Beta #1 (10dp6dt): BFN.
Attempted an IUI in late August 2013, but didn't respond well.
IVF #2 with PGS - Stims started 10/28 with retrieval on 11/11.  Of 14 mature eggs, 10 fertilized, 4 made it to Day 5 & 1 made it to Day 6. We did PGS on the Day 5 embryos, and 3 of 4 were normal. Had ET on 11/17. Beta #1 (8dp6dt): 203. Beta #2 (10dp6dt): 618. We since had two ultrasounds & on 12/19, our RE released us to the OB.  On 1/02/14, we had our first ultrasound with the OB where we heard the heartbeat.  We are so thankful for the blessing & crossing every finger & toe for a healthy & successful pregnancy.

    These betas look great! My betas are in my siggy, but you can't tell whether it is twins by looking at betas. If you transferred two, it could be a singleton or it could be twins. With IVF#1 we transferred two, I was pregnant with a singleton, and I had a

    I wouldn't rely too much on beta numbers, but FWIW:

    IVF #1 (transferred 2, resulted in singleton - my DS) - 14dp3dt beta was either 567 or 597 (I always forget which)

    IVF #2 (transferred 2, I am pregnant with twins) - 13dp5dt beta was 1,000

    DX: DOR and MFI 

     

    IVF w/ICSI brought us our 1st precious miracle

    V born via induction 4.29.11

    TTC #2: IVF (MDLF) August/September 2012

    ER 9/7: 6R, 5M, 4F ET 9/12: 5dt of 2 blasts 

    +HPT 9/17! Beta #1 (9/25) = 1,000 Beta #2 (9/27) = 1,860 U/S #1 (10/11)...TWINS!

    1/8/13 - It's a..boy and a girl!!

    All my betas from 2 IVF's and a FET are in my siggie although only one resulted in viability.  As everyone has said an u/s is the only way to tell. Congrats on your BFP and great betas :)

    I didn't do IVF but I hope it's ok if i comment. I had 4 mature follicles when we triggered and I became pg with twins. First beta 16dpo was 1,009 and then was over 3,000 at 20dpo.

    Mine are in my siggy and I have twins. FWIW, two of my friends had almost identical betas and had singleton girls. Betas are tricky like that!

    Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!
    12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
    Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

    As pp said, you can't rely on betas.  Mine were lower than yours and I ended up with triplets!  you'll just have to wait for your u/s.  GL!

    8/10 1st u/s - It's triplets!

    You really can't tell multiples from betas. My numbers were about those when I was a full week earlier than you are. They look great though!

    ETA: No they weren't. I got mixed up. They're in my siggy.

    I did an iui but with DS 18 dpiui my beta was I think 1069 so not too far below yours and I was pg with 1. My second beta was over 2000 I believe.

    Good luck with waiting to your u/s!

    Betas really aren't a good predictor because they depend a lot on how quickly implantation occurred. Mine were higher than the average for triplets, because DD implanted really early.

    My first beta 9dp5dt was 408 and we are pregnant with twins! I know they say it's not an indicator, but my nurse said "wow, that's high! There might be more than one!" And it was!

    Early beta test (8dp5dt or 13dpo) was 176. Second beta (11dp5dt or 16dpo) was 806. Doubling time was 31 hours (which I was told is more of an indication of multiples).  Ultrasound this week at 5.5 weeks showed twins. Hope this helps an
