No more swaddle..maybe!

So I hate to brag and jinx it, buuuuuttt DD slept unswaddled for the first time last night and actually SLEPT from 8:30-4:30 & then back down until 8! We had been working on naps during the day unswaddled, but she would only take very short naps. I did put her in a sleep sack so it was something on her, but maybe we're making some progress!! She'll be 20 weeks next week and is starting to roll on her side and almost making it all the way over, so I was really getting worried that she wouldn't be ready and we would have some awful sleepless nights.

    Nice!  We just deswaddled cold turkey last night.  Not too bad of an experience.  Hoping it will get better after a few nights!  Congrats on that good sleep stretch!  Can't wait for mine!

    She's been up and down so much the last few weeks I figured it couldn't hurt to try last night! I hope you get more sleep soon!!

    That's great! I found DS2 on his belly this morning so tonight I begin the process of de-swaddling... I dread it, I remember with DS1 it taking awhile before he adjusted. Not looking forward to this at all..

    I stopped swaddling a week or two ago because DS was starting to roll over at night.  He still startles himself awake and wakes up frequently but he at least goes to sleep well without the swaddle.  I keep hoping he'll be back to sleeping 6+

    She made it from 8:30-4:30 again! Maybe we were up and down the last few weeks because she was breaking out of her swaddle and waking up. I never thought of that. Such a guessing game!
