Buckley AFB, Colorado

We're getting ready to PCS to Buckley and I know almost nothing about the area or the base.  I've been checking AHRN almost daily for the last two months, so I have a rough idea of how much a rental is probably going to run, but I don't have the faintest idea of areas to avoid, school districts to think about in a few years, etc.  I'm also wondering about the hospital, if they have pediatricians on staff or if they're over crowded and send the kids off base (our prior duty station had to do that for several years), if there's any doctors to avoid if possible?

    We just moved from co. They have a pretty active Facebook page i think called buckley spouses. I have heard cherry point schools are the best.

    I lived in Highlands Ranch for 2 years which is part of Douglas County. It's about 30 minutes from Buckley. Buckley is very close to a lot of not so great areas unfortunately. My dad lives in a housing development in Southeast Aurora off of Quincy that is
