I plan to delay cord cutting until the blood stops pumping if possible. But after that stops what would be the point? And on top of that carrying around the placenta in a jar!?! Gross
Yeah, won't be doing that. I'm fine with my placenta and cord going to some medical disposal system. I imagine its like a garbage disposal for organs? Yummy.
I am just not crunchy enough to carry a jar full of what looks like chum, encapsulate my placenta, or anything else along the lines of honoring a organ that feeds and filters.
