Cutting baby hair

In case you can't tell in my siggy.. DD has hair. Lots of it. And a bunch of different lengths. Do you just let it grow and someday it'll all even up? Should I start trimming it?

Re: Cutting baby hair

  • I would let it all grow out and deal with it later.  DD currently has a mohawk going on, but whatever. The sides will fill in someday..

  • I wouldn't cut it unless it bothers you. It'll all even out eventually.

  • Personal decission.  Both my boys are baldies so I don't have that problem.  However, DS1 started devoloping a mullet around 18 months so we would trim it up.

  • I have been thinking of doing this as well since her bangs never stay brushed to the side any more. Going to pick up some tiny ponytail holders and see if I can help the situation that way first.
  • My DD has wild, curlyish hair. She always looks like the babies in the pampers commercials with hair all over the place. We've started putting it up sometimes. She's definitely rocking a mullet in the back lol but I'm just going to leave it for now.
