A week after our baby was born my husband had to return to works doing 12 hour nights, 6-6. There was a major accident at the plant where he works, so his crew was put on that schedule indefinatley until things are fixed.
I am alone all night with the baby and then alone during the day while DH sleeps. We get to spend a little of the afternoon together but it is such a short time and honetly I need to use some of that for a quick power nap while he watches the baby so I have the energy to keep going.
My husband is exsausted from this schedule wich makes for two very tired people and very little family time and very little help.
Is anyone else in a similar situation? How do you make the best of nights?

Kind of a reverse situation here. I work 7p-7a F-S and he works normal weekday hours. He pretty much takes care of our daughter on the weekends because I'm exhausted and have to sleep. I'm off M-Th except I work 3p-11p every other wed. I have her most
