My son is 23 months and used to nap every single day for about two hours without any fuss. This week, he's been super cranky and has thrown a fit, not every day but most, at naptime. Today, he's been standing in his crib screaming for over an hour. I feel like we're sleep training all over again, and I hate it. I know he needs more sleep; he's been cranky and has had huge bags under his eyes all week. I have no idea if he's teething, if it's growing pains, or if he's trying to drop his nap (for which he isn't ready).
Does anyone have any tips on getting him to sleep? I'm sure that this has been asked a lot here, so please forgive me. If all else fails, we're going to enforce a quiet time instead, though I'm positive that he'll throw a fit over that too. FWIW, we have a naptime routine of a story and cuddles (exact same as bedtime), and he eats lunch within 60-90 minutes naptime.
ETA: My husband and I talked, and we think it is teething. Though, if that's the case, it's his last set of molars. He got all four of his first set at the same time, and it took months for them to come in. So, if it's more molars, we're in for another rough few months of napping. Any sleep tips are still appreciated
TIA!

My son's nap and bedtim
You mentioned that he was standing and screaming for over an hour today. What happened after that? Did he end up falling asleep? If so, he probably just needs to go down for his nap a little later, like PPs said.
