car seat question

so we went from one of those infant carrier car seats to one that is stationary rear facing my son is almost 10 months old and is about 30 pounds he fits in the car seat great but it concerns me because every time he falls asleep his head falls forward to the point where he's snoring and it sounds to me like he's having a hard time breathing my question is I know I have the car seat strapped in as tight as it could go but do you think it might be leaning back too far and that's why his head for is falling down or does anybody else have these problems with the stationary car seats?
