Hi Ladies! Haven't posted in ages, and hope all your babies are doing well! LO is going to be 10 months next week, and we have come a long way in the food area, but I need help!! Here is his current meal plan
Breakfast:
Oatmeal made with formula, mixed with Gerber Pureed Fruit
1 Hard boiled, crumbled egg yolk
Lunch:
Vanilla Greek yogurt mixed with Gerber Pureed Fruit
Salmon (this is a new addition..still haven't figured out if he likes it or not..if he doesnt may switch to ground turkey which we just discovered he loves...he only takes a few bites (which we need to feed to him, doesnt feed himself)
Snack:
half an avacado mashed up
Dinner: (this is more of a mixed bag, no set menu items)
Usually a Gerber pureed dinner & maybe some Gerber Pureed Fruit
Some puffs
Maybe some Pureed Gerber Veggies
(Have tried to make our own veggies, but always seem to be too much texture for him to handle...makes him gag)
So my question is, what do you feel your LOs? My husband and I struggle with figuring out what to feed him as far as what he can or can't chew (4 front teeth), offering variety, but spaced out enough to test for allergies, and making sure he is getting the right nutrition. I feel like we are moving slowly, and I hear by a year babies typically are done drinking formula. Really hope I have a solid menu of meals and snacks by then!
Also, feeding him scares me to death - completely paranoid he is going to choke...but at the same time I know he needs to eventually learn to chew! Ah, this is so hard!
Re: Daily Menu
She only has two bottom teeth, and she does remarkably well with "chewing". She hasn't choked on anything in
DS has been on table food since 6.5 months and his 1st tooth just barely popped through this week. We feed him whatever we're eating and we've had zero issues of choking or an inability to chew. Some of our staples are waffles, any cooked v
