Please recommend a good ear thermometer

We have an exergen which is very unreliable and DS is not able to use the oral type, either. We need something trustworthy since he tends to have seizures when he has a fever.

    I am at work, so I don't have the model number, but our Braun is pretty good, and what our Ped uses.  It was about $40 I think, but the best money I ever spent.  Our temporal and other thermometers are crap.

    Thanks so much, you two. It's worth the expense.

    I am going to check with the ENT since he has ear tubes, and then if I get the ok, I will order one ASAP. :)
