Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Another Vaccine Thread...

I know this is a sensitive topic and I am only wanting to find some answers. I also know choosing or not choosing to vaccinate is a very personal decision and I respect either one because I know everyone has to make a decision that is best for their family. With that said...

I was definitely pro-vaccines since I am aware of the reality and seriousness of the diseases they're meant to protect against. My son's 2 month vaccines are scheduled for tomorrow and I've honestly been more and more on the fence about it because I personally know people whose babies slowed down in reaching their milestones after their first vaccinations were given (they were reaching milestones early before getting them). They also had bad reactions to the vaccines on top of the milestones issue.

I just wanted to ask and see if anyone else has experienced anything similar after getting your baby vaccinated? Or if anyone chose not to vaccinate did anything similar occur as far as your baby reaching milestones? I'm curious to see if this is vaccine-related. I guess I also want peace of mind about my appointment. My husband is not okay with us not vaccinating at all so I wanted to at least break up the vaccines into two appointments.

Thanks in advance! :)

  • The milestones reaches previous to two months are few and simple. The milestones from 2 months and up are so, much more complicated. Smiling and learning to sit up, for instance, are completely different functions. So, meeting the first few milestones
