Spit up question

Hannah is definitely a spitter, I have a hard time getting her to burp.

Here is my question. I was under the impression that they spit up what is basically "extra" food that they didn't need. But Hannah will spit up a ton, and then want to eat again. Is this normal? I have tried a few different burping positions, over the shoulder, her sitting leaning forward, heck even tummy time sometimes gets burps out for her. Any other suggestions?

Or is this just one of those "You have spitty baby and you have to wait it out things?"

    From what I've been told, some babies just aren't burpers no matter what you do. Does Hannah possibly have reflux? Mason is also a super spitty/vomity baby & will want to eat again afterwards. It seems like he would spit everything back up that he

    E spit up a TON. She definitely had reflux, you could hear the milk gurgle in her throat, sounded like congestion but no cold. Sometimes the milk would even come out her nose. Zantac helped a lot until she outgrew the reflux at 4 months. That is also when

    J is a happy spitter. Gosh, even a barfer. Between the drool and the spitting/barfing I change her outfit 3-4x a day. 

    I have no suggestions. I just keep offering the boob. She says, " Ah boobie! My favorite! Sure, I'll have some more!".&nbs
