DS had a seizure!!!

Ok I really haven't posted on here in a while but I really need positive support. Friday night we were at my moms I had been with her and my sister and my little guy all afternoon. He was completely fine. As the evening went on my cousin who was in town came over with her two kids and family and so did my aunt. Again he was acting normal. It was a little warm in there because of all the people and my little guys face was flush. So my sister started peeling off layers. As she went to take off his pants he began to fall but not like a baby usually does on his tush. He was stiff. All of a sudden I hear he's not breathing right call 911 which we did. It felt like an eternity until emergency services showed up. But by the time they showed he was breathing ok and not stiff and out of the 'trance' I don't know what else to call it. So we get to the er and it turns out he had an ear infection. I feel like a terrible mom how could I not know. But he really showed no signs. But now I'm also terrified of this happening again. Does anyone have any experiences with these types of seizures. I know it's not epilepsy. We went to our ped on sat and we are going back tomorrow and we are following up with a neurologist as well.  I'm just so scarred I haven't left his side and I'm just so scared.

    Thanks so much for your support ladies. Although we never want to see our children hurt it helps to not feel so alone. Good luck to all of us. He's not 100 yet but he's on his way to getting there.
