Parenting after a Loss

Grinding teeth?

DS has started doing this.. he only has 2 bottom teeth and one top incisor, but he'll position his jaw so that he can grind his two bottom teeth with his one top one!  Is this just because his teeth are bugging him? Or could this be the start of a bad habit that could last?

DD did this at first as she got used to having teeth in her mouth.

It was just a phase and she doesn't do it anymore.

  • Lil did this too, but has stopped. I think it was just a new feeling that they like to experience. I used to just tap her lips and tell her no when she would do it.
