Hi All,
My DD is 13mo old and over 20lbs. This past week she has had not really a runny nose but lots of mucus build up (putting it nicely)
and as soon as she goes to sleep she starts coughing her head off. Thus, keeping me and her up all night fussing. The funny thing is she does not cough any while she is awake.
I was wondering if giving her a small dose of children's benedryl at night would help the cough OR should i just wait it out and hope it clears up on its own?? I in no way would give it to her just to help her sleep, ONLY for the crazy cough! I've never given it to her before.
Happy Spring,
Thanks!

Both times I was advised to do so by her pediatr
