Commence freak out!

Oh my gosh!  

H and I are leaving for a two day kid free trip and I'm soooo freaking out.

Besides the hospital we haven't been away from O or A ever!!

 I know we and they will be fine, but I'm still totally nervous!

how do you leave when you won't be back for a few days, sneak out? Let them wave in the garage? Go during nap time?

    Ahh! Have fun. I'm completely jealous but I know I'd be freaking out too.

     

    I wouldn't sneak out. Just kiss them and say bye bye.

    I read "let them wave in the garage" as leave them in the garage. Don't do that! ;)

    Have fun, and stop freaking out!  I think saying goodbye depends on how O reacts when you leave.  Does she cry?  If so, I would sneak out (but I'm a chicken like that).  If she's happy enough to wave goodbye, that works too.

    I wouldn't sneak out, but that's just me. Also, my pediatrician recommends you always have a picture of the both of you bedside so when the kids go to bed, they can give a quick smooch and can feel your presence... Rylee had a very tough time this past bu

    We left L for two days in October.  We made a big deal about saying goodbye and doing kisses and stuff, but she was so excited to be with mamaw and papaw that she really didn't care that we were leaving.  I would definitely do goodbyes though.

    I'd definitely do hugs & kisses and goodbye but then leave. Sometimes I have trouble leaving M even though he's fine. I've noticed if I linger it makes it worse.

    We only did 1 night away and when we left we did the whole goodbye. She whined a little but my mom said she stopped soon after we left. I'd say it depends on how they are when you leave them normally.
