Lightweight Toddler stroller

Hi my 2 year old son has outgrown our umbrella stroller. Any good recommendations for a lightweight stroller that will fit a tall toddler and will especially be good for traveling specifically Disney perhaps a good jogging stroller? Thanks!!

Re: Lightweight Toddler stroller

  • I had the same issue and got a baby jogger city mini. Love it. My dd is very tall off the charts.

  • The city mini and britax b agile have tall, room seats. Nice and lightweight, but not for jogging.
  • Our DD is 3 and off the charts for height too and we love the city mini! She fits comfortably with room to spare and takes great naps in it while we're in Disney! I plan on purchasing a city mini double soon for DD and our soon to be born DS!
Married my BEST FRIEND on December 1, 2007. Started TTC in March 2008. Found out we were expecting our first child in October 2008 - but had a m/c in December 2008 - resulting in a d&e. Met with a RE in May 2009 and set a plan - but conceived unexpectedly on our own! Our precious little Sophia was born on February 9, 2010! Lilypie Third Birthday tickers

  • Thanks for all the replies! I guess I should have said that I don't jog/run, so I don't need the stroller for that option. :
  • If you don't plan on jogging, then I highly reccomend the city mini. We bought it specifically as our Disney stroller and it has worked out well. You will see 5 and 6 year olds in city minis at Disney lol.
  • I have the Uppababy G-luxe and I love it for my very tall toddler, we took it on a flight and to Seaworld and it was super light, it also comes with a strap so you can carry it on your shoulder or across your back which was helpful.

  • I agree City Mini but if you have height issues, the GT gives a little more room for height. It's heavier because of the wheels and adjustable handlebar though.
  • love love love our Chicco Liteway, we started using it at 5 months and DD is now 16months.

We loved ours so much that we are going with the Chicco Liteway Plus (this new version can hold an infant seat too) for this baby.
