If your baby used to bed share....

How/when did you transition out?  LO started bed sharing again when he got 2 ear infections and wouldn't sleep otherwise.  Now we put him down in his crib in his room, but around 11 he wakes up for no reason and we just bring him in bed.  I honestly don't mind it right now....my bigger concern is we want to *hopefully* have another baby in the not super distant future, maybe start trying in 6 months or so...and I don't want him in our bed when I'm pregnant and when the new baby *hopefully* comes.  I'm worried we're going down a path that will be harder to change later....thoughts?
