We may have a name

Since I have a 22 month old daughter (Emily Catherine), I wanted to make sure we had a name for DD2 a little early, so Em could get used to it. Every name I suggest DH has shut down. But he doesn't offer any real suggestions of his own. We already knew her middle name is Cecelia. It's a family name and we all of C middle names. Anyway, I really love Elizabeth with the nickname Ellie. I didn't not want to call her Liz because we have a one syllable last name and I didn't like how it sounds. DH said no, but still wasn't giving suggestions. So it's been a couple months that I told him that is her name unless he starts helping think of a name. One of Em's daycare teachers gave us a new book to borrow yesterday. It is the biggest baby name book I have ever seen. I gave it to DH and told him to start exploring and that I wanted a name by May 1st. He took one look at the book and said I guess Elizabeth (Ellie) is good. I said, "because you don't want to look through the book?". He said yeah, but I said to take a look and we'll see. I really hope he falls in love with the name like I love it, but for now it looks like he's going to give in either way because reading isn't something he's a huge fan of.

Elizabeth was our girl name when I was pregnant with my son. Of course less then a year later my husband's cousin had a daughter and named her Elizabeth, so we have a different name chosen if this one is a girl. Needless to say I love the name
