Cow's Milk - gradually or cold turkey?

Doc has cleared DD to start cow's milk at 11 months which is this Saturday! For those of you who have switched, did you mix it with formula/BM and just increase the amount of cow's milk over time or did you just begin giving cow's milk completely? DD is formula fed and still uses bottles although she's begun drinking from a sippy pretty regularly.

    I plan to offer WCM at 1 year, that's only my personal preference. I plan to offer it with DD's meals in a sippy. I plan to mix it at first (with BM) and gradually increase the WCM. When she can drink it out of her sippy well then I will start to wean

    With my DD I started with 3/4 formula and 1/4 WCM.  Then over the course of a week or two it was eventually all WCM.  That was how my other pedi said to do it.  This new one says to just start with one whole bottle of WCM in the mornin

    We started WCM yesterday. He is weaning right now. I didn't pull out enough frozen bm, so I gave him wcm.  I nurse when he wakes up. He eats breakfast about an hour later. I give him an ounce or so of bm in a sippy cup. He gets thirsty when he eats,

    We started giving 4 oz in a sippy cup with his snack and then with meals as well. We never mixed in formula with the milk and Ds never seemed phased by the difference. Today is his first day entirely cows milk, no more formula or bottles for him.

    We tried switching over recently. I gave 2 4oz bottles with one oz wcm mixed in. 3:1 f:wcm, and it was a disaster. Puking ensued. It was a rough night (and the bottles were morning and afternoon).
