Night time mover

My son does not stop moving in his crib all night long! Every time I look (we have a video monitor) he is in a new spot. He uses all the real estate in the crib. Is this normal? He sleeps well, and I am not concerned about that. I am just worried that he will never be able to sleep in a regular bed!  The weird thing is that he does not do this during naps.

    DS is a mover, too. For when we transition him to a bed, we bought a guard rail so that he can't go flying off the edge.

    I was worried about this too. DD hits every inch of the crib every night. I always ask myself, "how is this kid going to sleep in a real bed?" hahaha. Hopefully this will calm down and she'll move less.

    I think you read my mind this morning, DS woke up at 3 I think b/c of the thunder and lightning so I slept with him in bed.  I don't know how to moves so much he keeps me up the whole time.  And naps he pretty much stays still too.  Don't g

    This is my son exactly. I thought he'd have a blanket in his crib by now but there is just no point to it with all of his nighttime movement.

    My DD is a crazy mover too.  We have moved her into her big girl bed.  We have it next to a wall and then rails on both the opposite side and at the foot of the bed.  We didn't know if she would need the one at the foot but we definitely do

    My guy is all over the place at night.  He makes a lot of noise in his sleep too.  I feel bad that he's such a restless sleeper, but that's the way he is.

    My son actually sleeps with 2 small baby knit blankets. But he hugs them. They aare not on him. Glad to know we are not alone with a crazy night time baby! He has been this way since he started turning over!
