Jeep people... which car seats work?

I have a Jeep Cherokee and it is time to move LO from a infant seat into a bigger convertible car seat.  I bought one and it won't fit well.. can't get it to level right.  has anyone else dealt with this and which seat did you find that work?

    I don't have a Jeep, but I have an SUV (Saturn Vue).

    I got the Chicco NextFit and it's FABULOUS! Takes up less room than my Britax B-Safe infant bucket did.

    Graco convertible is great. Its about 300 and I have had it with my cherokee since last june. Fits 4100lbs
