Cradle Cap

I am so sick of baby's cradle cap! I've tried baby oil, which seemed to help a bit, but it was so hard to get out of his gobs of hair. A week later it seemed to come back with a vengeance, so I used dandruff shampoo on it last night. That got rid of all the green crustys. He's still pretty flaky though. Thus morning it looks like it's spreading to his face. He's peeling on his eyebrows, and one cheek. Uggggg! Any suggestions ladies?

  • Unfortunately there's not much you can do. If you let skin get too dry it gets worse but if you let skin get too oily it just as bad. It's maddening. The best thing I have found is the little brush with the sponge on the back that they give you at the hos

  • My LO has it on her eyebrows only. It looks so painful, but it doesn't hurt. I put some breastmilk on them to make it less dry. And I will confess that I pulled off a few of the larger flakes yesterday. I can't wait until LO's skin doesn't look so mess

  • Mustela Cradle Cap Shampoo. I used it with DD, and now with DS and it works great. One wash and you can notice a difference. It's a little pricey, but well worth it IMO.
