STM or TTM. Anterior placenta?

This is baby number three, 4th pg. nt tech said placenta is anterior. I understand that this makes movement not as strong. But to what degree? OB had told me, before the anterior news, that I should definitely be feeling movement by 14 weeks, and that the bumps I felt at 11 were most likely the baby. I had an appt at 14 weeks, hb was good. And I did feel some good strong movement up until 14 weeks. But, the past week or two, nothing. And I feel and look thinner than i have in quite a few weeks. I'm probably getting nervous about nothing, but anyone care to give insight?

  • I had an anterior placenta with DD#2 an I didn't feel ANYTHING until 22 weeks. I think it's strange that your OB would say you that should feel movement by 14 weeks. That's a long shot even without the anterior placenta.

  • I have an anterior placenta and I haven't really felt anything at 17 weeks- This is my third pregnancy and I always had a lot of movement by now so it is normal...
  • It surprises me your OB thought you should feel movement by 14 weeks before the anterior news even. At 14 weeks your symptoms of being bloated have probably calmed down. With my first pregnancy I didn't "pop" until about 18 weeks. I felt "flutters" at abo

  • I felt Aidan early on and at 28w I was told that I had an anterior placenta. It wasn't brought up during my a/s so I don't know how true that way.

  • He was saying that because this is my third baby I guess. He said something about my uterine wall not being as strong of a muscle anymore, so movement would be more easily felt. He had never told me that before. But, I definitely did feel baby by that poi

  • This is my second time having an anterior placenta. I feel very little and it is usually when I am laying down on my side or back that I feel little flutters but that's it. With DS 1, I didn't feel him until 22 weeks, this one was at 17 weeks. But again v

  • I had an anterior placenta with DD and also with this LO. The only downside is the lack of feeling, but no health concerns to you or baby. I didn't feel movement until 17 weeks and then I wasn't convinced I was actually feeling anything. At 22 weeks I fin

  • I only have one pregnancy to compare to, but I felt ds plenty with an anterior placenta. I actually fear what it may have felt like without that extra cushion it was so strong
