Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Aaannnd She's Back...

"Aunt Flo" that is...

I certainly wasn't expecting "her" to show up when I went in to work yesterday. My monday morning was bad enough already after losing my keys, having to ask MIL to watch DD at our house and borrow her car so I could get to work... and then mother nature decided to step in and make her appearance for the first time in a year and a half just to cap off my wonderful morning! Gee, thanks!Super Angry

LO is 10 months old, still BFing, and I've enjoyed a year 'n a half of freedom from Aunt Flo. ugh. I seriously felt like I was in middle school again, I was so shocked.

I guess this is my body's way of telling me it's ready for another baby...  Well, listen here, body, you can just hold your horses for a little longer!

ok, rant over.

  • Same thing happened to me. Totally caught me off guard. Especially since she didn't show up until after I weaned DS-15 months old. Not this time. She showed up 1 month ago. I was so mad. Still am.....:) I EBF too.

  • I had a nice 10 months free as well...then 'she' came back with a vengeance.  The worst cramps and heaviest flow (pun intended) i've ever experienced.  I sure hope that was just the case for the first time, and the next round will be easier <

  • You certainly pay for the reprieve.....Mine came back when DD was 9 months. It was 17days of heavy spotting follwed by 10days of all out flooding...worse than I have ever had. The only bright spot was that the cramps were basically nonexsistent co
