I am convinced that not everyone is meant to be a stay at home mom (me!!!!). I was home for 9 months with B and it was too long for me. I wish I had that time back now thinking how easy it was to just take care of one baby.
Anyways, I'm home with B 3 days a week (he's in daycare 2 days a week) and with Kieran every day.
B has services coming to the house for him 1-3 times a day, so that's been great to break up the day. But I feel like he wanders around the house a lot, we watch TV, read books, play with toys, etc. But everything in small doses. He'll color with me for 5 minutes or play with play dough for 5 minutes. Reads books or watches TV for longer. But I'm such a go-go-go person that I love to always be busy and I feel like he (and me) are bored just doing the same things at the house.
I'm not quite at the point yet where I'm okay taking both boys out on my own. We can take walks, but I'm a little nervous to brave the playground yet, the play gym or anyplace that isn't completely contained.
Anyone else get bored at home?
Pin me baby!

Re: Anyone else get bored being a SAHM?
I've never been an SAHM, but I know it would not be for me. Even if we have a long weekend where we don't go out much, I start to get restless. It's not so much boredom--there's more than enough work to go around--it's just a different kind of work. Yo
I have to go out at least 3 or 4 days during the week or I feel caught. We did music class on Wednesdays and mygym on Thursdays. Other days we would go get lunch with my mom or my MIL. I took them to the mall a lot (because they could be contained in t
My mat leave is a year long. In the beginning I hate being at home but thats cause of the newborn stage. In the middle, it gets better and it would be nice to work PT so I'm half at home and half out of the house. Then at the end, thi
Not really- I always have something to do or some errands to do. We get out and do kid related things at least 3/5 days. One more day is Mama errands and then there is at home day- which is the day that Nicholas has Speech. I am a big
I like staying at home and get a 5 month leave this time! I have the same issue though that I like having activities and places to go, but can't just yet with both kids. I sometimes daydream about being back at work, especially when Nate is

Yes - I couldn't be a full time SAHM.
I work 3 days a week in the office and am home by myself with 2 boys the other 2 days a week.
I try to plan as much as I can to get us out of the house - we do a playdate with DS1's "friends" one day
I thought this site had good ideas when I was on maternity leave.
