Here's the first scaredy cat post of storm season. We are supposed to get some strong storms tonight with possible tornados. DH isn't home and I'm a huge baby when it comes to storms. I downloaded an app to my phone that's supposed to alert me when we are issued a warning, but I'm still freaked out. I'm tempted to make DD sleep with me, but not sure how that would work out since she loves her crib.

    I'm also freaked out, but I'm much better when I'm home than when I have to travel anywhere.  I just hate that it is supposed to hit us in the middle of the night, which sends me into a whole other level of fear.  Luckily, I do have a basement i

    Our storm sirens do go off in MN all the time...I live a block away from oneTongue Tied.  You get pretty desensitized to it.

    The storm system was a lot slower than they expected, so the storm that was supposed to hit early this morning still hasn't hit. I didn't sleep well, then DD woke up at 3:45 and stayed up until 6:30. I called in sick to work. It's very rare for me to take

    Luckily we didn't get near the storm we were supposed to over night. I think north and west of us got it worse. I'm sure Tysons had fun last night.
