crib bumpers

Hello

So looking into bedding and I know you can't keep the standard bumper in the crib for long at all before you need a mesh or breathable bumper.  So is it pointless to even get a cute bumper.  They can be expensive and if it's only going to be safe for a month or two, seems kind of pointless.  And are there any recommendations on where to get cute breathable bumpers?  Thanks!!

Re: crib bumpers

Instead I had a crib ski

  • I would never use a bumper other than breathable (which we didn't need at all for DD).  The safety factor is not specific to babies rolling over and suffocating against the bumper, but also due to the fact that bumpers restrict airflow throughout the

  • Wonder Bumpers are beautiful.  I did not like the mesh bumpers, they were ugly and were still not safe in my opinion.  I went with bumpers initially because I liked the way they looked.  When I received the package in the mail I learned the

  • My daughter is almost 2 1/2 and we didn't even need the breathable bumpers. However, I did use the bumpers I got in my bedding set, but not as bumpers....I used them as the "teething rail covers" when she started standing in the crib. I took the stuffing
  • We bought a set that didn't come with bumpers, and instead we bought the wonder bumpers off of gomamagodesigns.com Each bumper is soft and fits on each individual rail of the crib. They come in different colors and they even sell sheets and crib skirts to

  • FYI they say they are not safe during the first few months, as well, due to restricted air flow.
