What are the chances?

I'm actually not trying to conceive right at this time. However I did have a slip up over the weekend & I wanted to get some opinions. I'm on oral B/C & have been for many years. This past Saturday I somehow forgot to take it & I also forgot to take it on Monday or Sunday, I'm not sure which day. My DH & I were intimate on Sunday, however we did use the P/O method because sometimes his sperm irritates me. I'm due to start the placebo pills on Sunday & get my period on Wednesday, I'm scared to death that I might be pregnant. I feel so stupid for forgetting, but I just had a lot on my mind I guess. Any opinions on what my chances of being pregnant are? I'm thinking of taking a First Response pregnancy test on Monday just to either tell me that I am or ease my mind that I'm not. Ugh, I'm so worried.

If you forgot to take your BC it's possible. Not likely but there's a chance. Less chance since he pulled out. However, I think taking a HPT on Monday is a little early.

The chances are very slim that you are pregnant. If you are consistent with your BCP every other day of the month, there is no way your body was able to gear up to ovulate during that window.

If you're not trying to conceive, then why didn't you take a Plan B pill if you had unprotected sex at the same time you missed a BCP?

Actually, you can still take one now. It's available OTC at your local pharmacy. Go get one, bro.

Despite what most people believe, the pullout method is actually very effective (typically with a similar failure rate of using a condom). So the chances you are pregnant are pretty slim.
