Sub one hour 10k

Hi ladies! Just wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a sub one hour 10k program?  I'm not 100% sure if I will sign up for one this year (I did a 5k in less than 30 min in October), but it's more of a personal goal.  I think I'm almost there but I'm interested in something more regimented than what I normally do.

You could keep doing what you are doing, or maybe try something like Hal Higdon's intermediate 10k plan.  It would get you both the volume and the speed work that should help you improve.  <a href="https://www.halhigdon.com/training/51123/10-K

  • I would include some speed work, perhaps mile repeats once a week.  My coach always called them the bread and butter of a 5-10k runner's training.

  • Try having one running day when you do intervals over time your speed for consistent runs will get faster.  Zombie Run is a great app to make intervals fun!
