Skinny babies?

Anyone else have a skinny minnie baby? DD weighs about 19 pounds but is 30 inches, so she is kind of a beanpole. She's only like 20th percentile I think. She eats great and nurses frequently so I think she's getting enough food, but I still worry since she's so little. The doctor is not worried but I feel like I should try to fatten her up? She eats what we eat but I wonder if I should put more calories in what she eats, like use regular turkey instead of lean, or maybe give her more fats like avocado with her meals. We don't eat dairy yet because her tummy is sensitive. Anyone else have weight worries? I guess maybe its just her body type, but I am programmed for some reason to think that babies should be chubby!
Due 3.27.14 (lame because I cannot figure out how to save a fun ticker.....)

Re: Skinny babies?

  • We're still waiting for DD to break 15 lbs.  Not too worried b/c she's still meeting all milestones and is following her own growth curve (maintaining 3rd percentile from birth)

ETA:  We do give her lots of avocado, full fat greek yogur

  • Some babies are just built that way. No need to be concerned unless there she is not reaching average milestones for her age or is refusing meals. My guy has been 25 lbs for the past 6 months! He weighs the same as my two of my friends' two and three year

  • Raises hand- DD#2 is 27.25" tall and 16lbs 1 ounce. I'm getting a lot of grief from the doctors because they claim that by 1 year, she should be triple her birth weight (8 lbs 6 ounces at birth would be 25 lbs 2 ounces at 1 year).

  • Ds2 is a true peanut, 16.1 pounds soaking wet! My doc saw him this week for an ear infection and is slightly concerned b/c no weight gain in a month. I am not worried though. He eats a lot , nurses/drinks his bottles, is meeting all his milestones, and I
