I have to ask this because any other board where I lurk, including the BabyCenter boards, are just totally and utterly obsessed with RF. I totally respect that it is significantly safer to RF a child for as long as possible, and I'm not debating that fact at all. What I'm commenting on is the unbelievable ire that one is met with if they even suggest FF a child before like age 10. I get educating people who might not otherwise be informed of the dangers, but it seems to go well past that. Of all the things to go crazy about, one's decision to FF their own child really does not impact anyone other than that one person and that person's LO.
Feb 12 has been pretty good about not engaging in this craziness, but am I missing something? Does anyone else think it's a topic that is just WAY overblown on these boards? It seems to create a bigger stir than any other topic.
